I picked up my vehicle from Land Rover Annapolis after the\u00a0N623 Fuel Outlet Flange Recall\u00a0was performed. Immediately after service, while driving in a live lane of traffic, the vehicle\u00a0unexpectedly stalled, resulting in a complete loss of motive power.\u00a0 The dashboard fuel gauge falsely indicated\u00a055 miles of remaining range, but the vehicle had actually run out of fuel. This indicates that the\u00a0fuel sending unit/float assembly\u00a0was improperly reinstalled or damaged during the recall service, creating a secondary safety defect.\u00a0  I figured it would calibrate and fix itself.   When the dealer reached out after my service appointment I made them aware of the issue. No one contacted me. I contacted Land Rover corporate when it continued to happen and was told to bring it back to the certified repair location. The dealership took 16 mins to look at my vehicle and deem the engine bad. Give a ballpark quote of 20000 to 30000 dollars to replace the engine.   Despite this life-safety event, the dealership refused to pull stored Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and is attempting to deflect liability by blaming a pre-existing minor coolant leak that never triggered an overheat warning. I am reporting a\u00a0failure of the recall remedy\u00a0and requesting an investigation into the dealership's refusal to diagnose\u00a0consequential damage\u00a0(High-Pressure Fuel Pump failure) caused by the botched safety When I brought up the fact that they should have diagnosed the codes already he offered to have them run it for free tomorrow like he was doing me some kind of favor.  When I said did I disagreed with the findings based on the fact that there was no evidence of it being the engine overheating due to cool it he replied that maybe I needed a second opinion and it needed to be off of their lot by Friday.
