Very scary when driving the vehicle.  When you reach the bottom of the steep incline, the brakes begin to function normally again.  I have had this happen on 3 different occasions.   I informed the dealership of this but they didn't see anything abnormal when they inspected the brakes.  The did not attempt to reproduce the problem as there are no extended steep grades nearby to drive down.
