I started the car up again to see if this would allow the fan to turn off.  No luck.   The steering assist was dis-enabled on the dash.  I took my car to the dealer to find out that it has a bad thermostat and that my radiator was leaking.  The thermostat was covered but I had to use my extended warranty to pay the additional repair.  My deductible for my extended warranty is $300.00.  My daughter has a 2021 Chevy Blazer and the same situation happened.
