As the freeway lane ended/merged, the vehicle unexpectedly performed a sudden full stop at freeway speed. There was no visible obstruction in front of the vehicle. Multiple vehicles behind me had to brake abruptly to avoid a rear-end collision. The system did not provide any audible or visual warning before the sudden braking. This has created a serious safety risk due to the high-speed freeway environment. This issue appears to be related to lane-ending or merge interpretation by the FSD system. I am concerned that this behavior could result in a rear-end collision.
