The contact received notification of  Ford Campaign Number: 22N12 (Rattle Noise at the Transmission Bellhousing Area Flex-plate Cracks), and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for repair in 2022 and 2023; however, the dealer informed the contact that there were no parts or transmission mechanics available to perform the repair. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer recently, and the contact was advised that the parts were still not available. The contact was concerned that the vehicle would no longer be eligible for the repair due to the delay in repairing the vehicle. Additionally, the contact received notification NHTSA Campaign Number: 20V469000 (Service Brakes, Service Brakes, Hydraulic) and the vehicle was taken to the dealer for the repair; however, the dealer informed the contact that the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced the failure and was taken to Firestone, where the front brake lines were repaired at the owner's expense. The contact was later denied reimbursement. Additionally, the contact stated that the vehicle had experienced rear brake hose failures. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but was not repaired due to parts not being available. The contact stated that the dealer had intentionally delayed the recall repair and customer satisfaction programs repair of the vehicle on several occasions, causing the vehicle to become ineligible for the repairs. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and of the issues with the dealer. The vehicle was not repaired.
