This vehicle is equipped with an auto-start/stop system to save fuel.  Once the red light turned green the engine refused to restart.  This was the second instance.  The vehicle took over 30 seconds before it would restart.  None of the push-to-start buttons worked, the car would not recognize that the brake was pressed, and it had also shifted itself into park.
