I took the information to my local Acura dealer and they had told me that the engine was outside of the recall on the bearing failures on other 3.5 engines. Due to the related failure patterns, I believe that the engine should have been replaced in accordance with the failed engine connecting rod recall 24-001. I had to bear the cost of a used engine to install into the vehicle .
