It took two years numerous dealership visits, update after update. I filed a lemon law claim. I had a GM claim. No one could fix it. They told me I could do 3 things. Update again, cut the wires (which of course voids the entire warranty) or have them disconnected (if they could even be disconnected). I finally found a dealership in Cayuga, Indiana that fixed the problem by actually disconnecting the noise cancelation.  It got so loud you couldn't even hear anyone talking in the car. It gave anyone a headache if they ride more than 30 minutes at a time. The noise cancelation wouldn't shut off.
