This recall was completed on my truck but the loss of signal from a bad tone ring has resulted in the same condition as the original recall which is inoperability of the vehicle.  This still poses a safety threat as the recall did not correct the issue.  The manufacturer is now claiming that the recall period is expired and the tone ring failure will not be covered.  the repair is 1700 and may still result in a failure of the vehicle to maintain propulsion as it did for me on Jan 30th, 2026.  I have a case open with Stellantis to try and get an answer to this, but it is still a safety concern.    case number 895950295","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2014","productMake":"RAM","productModel":"1500","manufacturer":"Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)"}]}]}
