When a right hand turn signal is activated, and the steering wheel is corrected after completing the turn, the left turn signal activates spontaneously. This miscommunicates intent to other drivers, causes dangerous assumptions on the road and increases collision risk. Ford has acknowledged this is a known issue and a \"great safety risk\" but has no resolution.   This has been ongoing since purchase in late summer 2025, however initially I thought it was perhaps a user error.
