I lost all control of both the steering and the braking systems. This resulted in my vehicle striking a parked car to my left, jumping a cemented planter border, and coming to rest in the adjacent parking stall.  Fortunately, the other vehicle was unoccupied, and both my passenger and I were uninjured. Local law enforcement was contacted; however, they indicated the policy officers will not be sent to the seen to file a report as there were no injuries. They did assist in identifying the owner of the other vehicle.  I have initiated a claim with my insurance carrier, American National Property and Casualty Co (Claim #10401408), and have opened a case with Mazda Corporate (Case #00428640). Mazda has indicated that they require a report from my insurance provider to proceed with a technical investigation.
