They had to buy back my first car due to the exact same issue.  I was assured that the new model which I bought a different Hyundai in between the two GV70\u2019s.  I have owed over 100 cars and I truly love the Genesis but the SUV is Totally Unsafe to drive with the cruise control.  The cruise control will slam on  or firmly apply the breaks for zero reason. You will be driving no one around at all and the breaks come on.  I have been almost rear ended several times.  This happened the very first day I drove the car on I75.  It happens daily that I am on I75 so I now only use the cruise control when there is no traffic.  On my way to Lexington it happened 5 times.  But now it\u2019s getting worse.  This will eventually kill somebody.  I have been very nice but once I got tired of waiting for the dealership to do something about it I went to Genesis directly and now the dealership refuses to let me come back due to my complaint.  The dealership Genesis of West Knoxville refuses to fix the problem and Genesis told me to go to the BBB. .  Well the BBB is not the answer if someone dies due to this very serious situation.  PLEASE help before someone dies.  I have had two different dealerships service department people tell me they seen this before and even my first Genesis rep said this is an issue now they all say they never said it.  And Genesis even took my advocate away and gave me a new one that I had for months and months and within a few days the new one said Genesis sees no reason to go any further.
