For several seconds, I had not readings from the dashboard lighting.  It went completely black.  It then reset itself, much like a computer when you restart it.  Within a short time (less than a minute) the instrument panel began working again.  This was the third time this has happened to this vehicle.  The first time was in July 2024 and the second time in November 2025.  Both of those incidents were reported to NHTSA. There had been a software recall for NHTSA 23V744000 for this very problem in 2024 Chevrolet Trax, but my VIN was not included in the safety recall for increased risk of crash.  I brought the Trax to the dealership after the third incident.  They did a software update on 25-NA-071.
