I purchased a brand new 2025 TOYOTA Sienna Hybrid on May 20th, 2025 as a family vehicle to transport my grandchildren in their car safety seats. In July, Toyota discovered that the 2nd row seat rails were defective and posed a serious safety risk. Dealers were sent a DO NOT SELL notice on October 7th for the unsafe Siennas. I was not notified until December 12th that no one should occupy the 2nd row seats while the vehicle was in motion due to a serious safety risk, so my grandchildren were strapped into unsafe seats without our knowledge all that time. Since then, the vehicle has been unusable for its intended purpose due to this significant safety risk. I have been waiting for months for the vehicle to be fixed without any update of any kind from Toyota on when this will happen. I have called the Toyota Brand Engagement Center several times and they have had zero information to provide beyond that listed in the Interim Notice. This is completely Unacceptable. Toyota has continued to produce new 2025 Siennas and 2026 Siennas with corrected seat rails since July 25th 2025 without supplying any replacement seat rails to remedy the recall and end the hardship it has caused for the families affected. This needs to be addressed and Toyota needs to be compelled to put their pursuit of profit on hold and fix these vehicles NOW.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2025","productMake":"TOYOTA","productModel":"SIENNA HYBRID","manufacturer":"Toyota Motor Corporation"}]}]}
