There were no warning lights, no messages, and no indication of a problem. The vehicle suddenly lost all power in traffic and then the engine seized completely. This is extremely dangerous and could easily cause a crash.  The dealership confirmed this is part of the known national crankshaft defect, but the replacement engine is on backorder for over a month, leaving me with an unsafe and unreliable vehicle.  GM has replaced or attempted to replace the motor multiple times, and the defect continues. This truck should not be on the road.  I am reporting this because it is a serious safety hazard to me and other drivers.
