I have researched this and it appears that the reason this problem occurs is because of a process called galvanic corrosion. The fuel tank shield is bolted onto an aluminum heat shield, and the pairing of these two different metals accelerates the corrosion. Land Rover has acknowledged this problem and it\u2019s given priority due to the fact that this is a safety issue being that these shields are also responsible for holding the tanks in place.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2013","productMake":"LAND ROVER","productModel":"RANGE ROVER","manufacturer":"Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC"}]}]}
