The forward collision sensor triggered dropping the vehicle in speed approx 30 mph almost instantaneously. This is San Diego so no snow, rain or sleet and we were driving eastbound each time with the sun at our back.  Hyundai kept the car for a week for diagnostics and found nothing. We have since escalated to corporate and are going in for another round of diagnostics. We have been exceptionally fortunate that we were not rear-ended.
