The engine would not restart and the check engine indicator was on. OnStar messaged me via email that a fault P129F was detected. I had the vehicle towed to my home where I performed some additional diagnostics and determined that while similar to Product Safety Recall N222372310 Inadequate Fuel Pump Flow, the issue was not with the fuel pump but with the fuel pump controller module mounted under the vehicle. I replace the module with an official GM replacement module part number 13554821 which resolved the issue with the fuel system in my vehicle.
