The outage cannot be fixed by turning off the radio or any known practical intervention while the vehicle is moving. Audio reading of incoming text messages also fails. AM/FM/SiriusXM are all affected. Audio resumes at the next vehicle start-up.  The vehicle is available for inspection.  Safety is compromised since emergency alerts may be missed during these complete audio outages.  Due to the randomness of the audio outages, independent confirmation has not been practical to date.  No inspection by manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others has been requested or yet occurred.  Other than the abrupt audio cut-off, no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure have been observed.
