This creates an immediate loss of visibility and a significant safety hazard while driving. In both instances, the detached wiper arm had to be retrieved and manually reinstalled. On one occasion, the arm could not be reinstalled in the field, leaving the vehicle without functional wipers. The component should be available for inspection upon request.  The first occurrence happened on Jan 3, 2025.  The most recent was Feb 2026.  Issue 2: The windshield wipers are currently inoperable. When activated, the wipers move slightly upward (approximately 4\u20136 inches from the bottom of the windshield), then stall and begin to stutter/twitch repeatedly before stopping completely. There is no visible external damage to the linkage. This condition renders the wipers ineffective and unusable. The issue has occurred during active snowfall, making the vehicle unsafe to operate due to loss of visibility.  No prior warning lights or messages were observed before the failure.  The issue began suddenly, and was not a slow failure.  It also occurred the day after a software update, which I noted because of the changed radio and alarm settings in the vehicle.  I believe this was April 14th or 15th.  By proximity of the app update, this raises the concern of the issue being related to the app.  Based on research, there are multiple current and prior recalls involving similar Ford truck wiper system failures related to linkage lubrication, motor sealing, and sensor faults. The described failures appear to be functionally related and represent a significant safety concern.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"F-150","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
