I was put at risk of complete engine failure, leaving me stranded on the side of the road.  The vehicle was towed to Reliable Toyota dealership in Springfield, MO who confirmed that I would need a new motor.  They opened a case with Toyota Corporate, which agreed to a rebuild motor, but not a new motor, as this model is not under the recall.
