The technician flagged this as a critical safety risk. While Nissan previously issued a service campaign (P9324) and a 10-year warranty extension for identical failures in Altima and Maxima models in 'Salt Belt' states, my Rogue is currently excluded. I have been quoted $1,700 by an independent mechanic to replace these parts, and the dealership estimated the cost would be even higher. I am reporting this to document that this safety defect is present in the Rogue fleet and to urge an investigation. This corrosion creates an immediate risk of the control arm snapping, which could lead to a sudden loss of vehicle control.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2015","productMake":"NISSAN","productModel":"ROGUE","manufacturer":"Nissan North America, Inc."}]}]}
