During deceleration on the off-ramp, the engine began to shudder violently and immediately lost power.  The vehicle was unable to maintain normal operation and became unsafe in an active traffic environment. After coming to a stop, the engine would not restart and the vehicle was completely inoperable.  There were no prior warning signs or alerts before the failure occurred. The issue developed abruptly while the vehicle was in motion.  The vehicle required towing and dealer inspection. Diagnosis confirmed internal engine damage / bearing failure / engine seizure. The repair required engine replacement   This failure is consistent with widely reported issues involving GM 6.2L V8 engines (model years 2019\u20132024) experiencing bearing failure and catastrophic engine damage. The same failure characteristics appear to be present in this vehicle.  This represents a serious safety concern due to the sudden and complete loss of engine power and inability to restart the vehicle while in a traffic environment, creating risk of collision or roadway obstruction.  The vehicle had approximately 65,000 miles at the time of failure.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2024","productMake":"CHEVROLET","productModel":"SILVERADO 1500","manufacturer":"General Motors, LLC"}]}]}
