I had no indication that this was going to happen. It would not turn and almost caused an accident. I was able to break the steering do to my strength. I was able to limp truck to dealer. Upon inspection they confirmed a faulty / locked up steering shaft. This was not covered by ford. The shaft was replaced and functional now. I have made several attempts to communicate with corporate ford about this safety matter and haven\u2019t been heard from. They have had shaft issues with their f150 trucks also. This issue is a direct result from poor manufacturing and is a real safety issue. This should never happen with a vehicle that is only a few years old with not that many miles.I have saved the part for inspection and looking for some assistance.
