My truck was manufactured February 2015 and was not on the list of specific Ram 1500s to have this recall done.  I was with my kids getting an oil change on the truck. When I was leaving the maintenance bay my power steering suddenly failed and left us stranded to get towed.  Chrysler stated that there was certain conditions that led for certain models to have recalls for this part, but not my truck.
