Roughly between 5000 and 10,000 miles at a certain speed the 10 R 80 transmission in my truck would unexpectedly violently slam into a lower gear, causing my truck immediately go to a slower speed, and that I was not ready for. I brought it back multiple times to the dealership under warranty. They told me they fixed the problem however, I continue to have the same issues. Ford is telling me now they will not fix it even though I do have confirmation from a Ford dealer that the Park Paul in the Transmission is damaged and can cause the vehicle to slam into park even if I\u2019m doing 70 miles an hour on the highway. There was an initial recall done however the my truck was made at the Kentucky truck plant where the issue was initiated. However, Ford claims there were specific dates they noted.
