The issue was documented by the dealership on March 28th, 2025. A recall was later issued confirming a defect in the seatbelt buckle assemblies that may prevent proper latching and increase the risk of injury in a crash.  From late 2025 through April 2026, I was repeatedly informed by Hyundai and dealership representatives that parts were unavailable, on backorder, and that no repair timeline existed, despite being told parts had been ordered as early as November/December.  On April 2, 2026, I was again told there were no parts available and no estimated timeline for repair. After submitting a formal lemon law demand on March 29, 2026 and escalating the matter, Hyundai confirmed in writing that parts were limited and no defined repair timeline existed. Only after over a year of delay was I later informed that a part may be available.  Additionally, there is another active safety recall affecting the vehicle for which no repair is currently available.  This vehicle has had unresolved safety defects for over a year, involving critical systems, without a reasonable repair timeframe.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"HYUNDAI","productModel":"PALISADE","manufacturer":"Hyundai Motor America"}]}]}
