Upon further inspection of the car at the shop with a borescope camera it was found that coolant is leaking into the cylinder causing a misfire to occur after the vehicle has been driven and then sits while cooling system is still under pressure. Our safety was put at risk because while driving the car on the interstate in [XXX]  around end of February to sometime in March the car was jerking and acting as though it would die at any point where cars are travelling of speeds 65-70 mph plus. We had our [XXX]  old and then [XXX]  old who has a neurological condition and is under a neurologist for treatment of severe migraine headaches in the car with us. We had to pull over on the side of the road, then my husband started driving slowly with emergency blinkers on, we were able to get to a dealership who looked at it and ran a code and told us that the code showed a misfire in our cylinder 1 and that we needed to replace the ignition coil, which we just replaced in May 2024 and we have a rceipt to show proof of this. The car will no longer be in our possession because when my husband learned that the car was in engine failure he wanted to trade it in because we need a safe car but we do have the reports to it. The problem was confirmed by an independent service center- Christian Brothers Automotive in Crestwood, Ky. To fix the problem we have to have a total engine replacement which is priced at 12 grand. Manufacturer refuses to take responsibility for this. Engine blockhead was also found to not line up with the engine, which had to have happened at factory when car was built. The check engine light came on 2x recently, car was jerking in May 2024 and that's when the problem 1st started. Problem corrected for almost 2 years, but then same problem reappeared.
