But intermittently when taking off from a stop, the powertrain hesitates to respond to my input on the throttle. The hesitation lasts anywhere from half a second to a full second. This puts my safety and other driver\u2019s safety at risk because I cannot reliably tell whether I will be able to pull out quickly and safely in front of an oncoming vehicle. The problem has not been reproduced by a dealer on my particular vehicle. There has been no inspection. There are no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms.
