On May 6-7, 2026 I contacted Mercedes customer service three times and received conflicting safety guidance. Agent 1 told me charging above 80% was acceptable and did not advise outdoor parking. Agent 2 (appointed by a manager) told me to restrict charging and park outside immediately, and escalated to buyback team. Agent 3 called back and said Agent 2 made a mistake and that no restrictions apply. My only available parking is an enclosed residential garage. I have a newborn due any day. Mercedes has failed to provide consistent written safety guidance despite an active federal fire risk classification on my vehicle.
