It is a common, known, issue among RAM trucks involving the fuel line. It takes me 20 to fill the tank up because of this issue, and I’m constantly having the fuel spitting out at me and the ground. This is a safety/fire hazard that needs to be addressed by RAM. Apparently the only fix is to replace the entire tank which is costly and frustrating. RAM acknowledges this yet they won’t fix the issue, and requires the owners to pay out of pocket to fix this. Being a safety hazard they should be on the hook for the cost. Thought it was a minor issue for a while that would only happen on occasion , but now it’s happening every time I try to fill. That’s when I did the research and found this is a normal issue. The dealer wants to charge me just for them to diagnose the issue before they will repair it.
