An independent mechanic ran a diagnostic scan on one of those occasions and received an ABS Module fault. They bled the system, and the brakes worked well (fault went away) -- until the next incident, in which the car decided to randomly 'fix' itself about 20 minutes later. Independent shop and the dealership performed in-depth inspections of the entire braking system and could not find the issue. This hydraulic failure is a documented safety problem on other Edge models and should be the subject of a recall for the 2014 Ford Edge.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2014","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"EDGE","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
