I received a message on the dashboard to shift to P and restart my engine. After shifting to P I was able to start my engine. When shifting to R my engine acted normally. When shifting to N my engine acted normally. When shifting to D my engine began to shudder and stalled a second time. After waiting for a light cycle I attempted to restart my engine and shift to drive a third time and my engine stalled when shifting to D. I required a tow truck to take my vehicle to my dealership. While waiting on the tow truck I had to shift the car to neutral and push the car onto the shoulder from the center lane where my car stopped working.
