Prior to the failure, audio was not working in the car for several weeks.  Kia stated that was due to the ICCU issues and that the 12V was most likely also failing due to the ICCU.  ICCU was covered by KIA, but owner of the vehicle had to pay for the replacement of the 12V battery.
