This created a random flying debris object that appears to have been a problem with the 2022 and later Sierra 1500 models; however, the recall only appears to address the 2022 model. It also appears quite common for the 2024 year model as well.  Vehicle has never been in an accident so nothing beyond typical use would have caused damaged to the connections.
