This happens especially at low speeds.  This has gotten worse and the only answer I get is you'll get a new engine at some point.  Around 25000 miles the fuel pump went out on the truck and was replaced.  I was initially told I would have a new engine installed by April, then May and still waiting.  My problem is I paid high dollar for a nice vehicle, and it's basically been a repair concern from the beginning.  Passengers in my vehicle ask what is wrong with your vehicle.  The stalling/skipping/jerking is that obvious.  Since Toyota is aware of this major issue why am I having to wait months for a repair???  This is not good business.  On top of the engine replacement I asked at that time would the new engine have any type of warranty.  I was told at the dealership it would not.
