The screens kept flashing then the car stopped and went into park and I could not get it out of park.  I was at the front of my nieghborhood entrance and it made it hard for others to come in and out.  I tried to restart it.  My husband tried to jump it.  I tow truck came about two hours later only to realize it could not tow it since the vehicle was stuck in park and could not be powered to move it to neutral.  They had to call a new tow truck.  I was sitting in my car stuck in the entrance of my neighborhood impeding traffic for close to 4.5 hours.  A new tow truck finally arrived at close to 9:45pm.  It was towed on dollies to the dealership. They inspected it today and said the starter and the engine had both failed/blown and needed full replacement. I am waiting to hear back from them on the estimated time for replacement biut could take weeks which is devastating. My vehicle is the 2025 Chevy Tahoe High Country with the 6.2 L V8 engine that I now understand has issues prior to 2025 and was recalled but nothing yet for the 2025.  My car is only 9 months old and has 12,100 miles on it.  I am devastated. Prior to this I had no issues and there were no sounds or issues it just happened. It was dark by the end and I was sitting in the middle of the road and the lighting in the area is limited so I had to have someone bring me lamps so other drivers could see me as the car is black and it was very dark.
