Vehicle taken to Buckeye Nissan in Ohio and rear hatch cover removed and a significant amount of water discovered in the rear hatch exposing the camera to this water has short circuited the camera disabling it. Tech checked the wire leading to the camera and reports that it has no power. Only option from 2 Nissan dealers is to replace the entire rear hatch at a cost of over $5000. Water penetration is coming in from the rear wiper which has a rubber gromet around it that is not water tight allowing a significant amount of water to short out the cameras on the 2021 Nissan Rogues.
