This is an intermediate issue. This is a well known problem with the GMC Acadias.   Their times when I try to turn off the engine, I get a shift to park error message. The car will not turn off, I\u2019m unable to lock the doors and I\u2019m concerned that the car is not in the park position thus and fearful, it can roll away.
