After several occurrences I began to pay close attention as to when this was occurring.  I found that this occurs mostly, not exclusively, when I am slowing the vehicle to a near stop, not a full stop and then accelerating to continue, like slowing to round a corner on a green light and getting into traffic. For example, I was exiting a Home Depot parking lot, the driveway exits to the roadway.  As I approached the driveway to enter the roadway I slowed, preparing to stop.  Seeing no traffic on the roadway I then pushed the accelerator to enter the roadway.  The pedal was dead, I got absolutely no acceleration.  I pushed the pedal down slowly, nothing.  I pushed the pedal to the floor, nothing.  The truck rolled out onto the road, I coasted to the side of the road.  Had there been traffic I'd have been hit.  This has happened 20 times in two years and 80K miles.  The most recent event was this week with my wife present, very scary, dead pedal, not throttle response. If you research \"Dead Pedal\" on GOOGLE, you will get the following response: The \"dead pedal\" in the Ford F-150 PowerBoost\u2014a dangerous lag or total loss of throttle response\u2014is a widely reported issue, particularly when accelerating from low speeds, turning, or right after starting. [1, 2, 3] The cause can range from a software glitch to transmission issues or failing sensors.  Ford said there was a TSB, however the work performed had no effect on the dead pedal on my truck.  Invoice attached from March 2026, it just occurred again this week.  I am going to trade the vehicle in but I doubt that Ford will disclose this flaw to the next buyer, it will be their's to discover, hopefully not by \"accident\".     I am going to trade this vehicle in and I'm sure the new buyer will have no idea of this potentially deadly flaw.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"FORD","productModel":"F-150 HYBRID","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company"}]}]}
