My foot was not on the accelerator. I was coasting with foot off accelerator to exit parking lot at a speed of under 8mph when the car suddenly jerked forward and surged to 30mph. The car came to a sudden stop in the middle of the road after running stop sign and exiting the parking lot without driver input.
