It's almost like there is a phantom touching the screen and pressing buttons.  The screen will start zooming in and out - changing your navigation destination.  The air controls will turn on full blast and then you are unable to shut them off because the screen will not respond.  It becomes a giant distraction to the driver (imagine a screen that large malfunctioning) and tesla does not think this is a safety issue.  We reported it to them.  They couldn't replicate the issue (is what they told us and then let us know it was out of warranty and we could just replace the screen to a tune of almost $2000).  There are no cracks or issues with the screen itself.
