Pulled over to check and see if everything was ok. When restarting engine it developed a ticking noise which got worse and worse. We then made an appointment at a transmission specialist to get it serviced. While driving there the engine started experiencing engine failure with loss of power and loud ticking noise. Diagnostic from trans shop showed issues with engine and cylinder 4 misfire detected. Yes, the vehicle can be inspected upon request.  Safety was put at risk while driving when engine started to fail. Had to pull over and have towed. Independent service center has confirmed issues. Report in attachments. No warning lamps or messages appeared prior to failure issues. The issues first started on March 18th 2026. SUV has been un drivable since. We have been unable to find a repair shop who is willing to do the repairs needed.
