I took the vehicle to South Hills Toyota in Cannonsburg PA, for maintenance and state inspection, specifically identifying this issue.  The car is less than 2 years old still under warranty  Initially I was told it was not a material defect and not covered by warranty, remedy would be replacement of entire sunroof.  Discussion with the service manager resulted in the defect being escalated to Toyota.
