When backing up and turning the RD has been jerking and slipping for more than 2 years. I had the vehicle in the shop 2+ years ago and explained the problem and they claimed they could not find a problem and gave the car back to me. Now it's back in the shop again as the problem is worse. The powertrain is still under warranty so I assumed they would cover it, however they said it's my fault so they won't cover it. Honda dealer wants $4000 to fix. So next i contacted American Honda and explained it to them. After a week of waiting they came back and said we will give you a discount to $2500. My response it this should be under warranty. They will not admit they had defective Rear Differentials as I saw NHTSA had an open inquiry of these RDs. NHTSA Action Number: PE22011.  Now I am waiting to get my CR-V back and pay the hefty bill even though this is clearly a Honda defect. Can you help me get a Recall opened to American Honda to fix these Rear Differentials? The Honda company and the Luther dealer have not been honest and they need to be held accountable.","products":[{"type":"Vehicle","productYear":"2022","productMake":"HONDA","productModel":"CR-V","manufacturer":"Honda (American Honda Motor Co.)"}]}]}
