Multiple occasions where the system was turned off and the engine quit and would not restart without putting the vehicle in park.  Recently the ESS has gone months without shutoff of the engine.  However, occasionally it will shut off the engine.  Multiple times the engine has shut off while the vehicle is moving, which was very dangerous.  Typically after a stop at a traffic light, you begin to drive and the engine quits.
