I leave the keep lane assist off because it exacerbates the safety issue. Recently, while trying to self diagnose the problem, I turned on the system before using an on ramp to I820. While accelerating on the on ram, the keep lane assist caused the truck to swerve left and then right.  I immediately turned off the feature and the symptom stopped.
