I had no idea at the time that my vehicle could even do that, as I'd had it at least three years and, while I'd had false warnings because of a line on the road or something, it had never done that.  Luckily, there were not cars close behind me, because it was disorienting and took a moment to realize what was happening and adjust my driving to correct it.  It was incredibly concerning, and I searched for what feature would even do that and how I could turn it off.
