Stated she smelled gas and it continued to get stronger smelling as she drove. Noticed the mile to empty graph was going down really fast. I had her pull over at a safe location and look underneath the truck for anything out of the ordinary.  Found gas running out of the engine bay dripping on the hit exhaust and atomiziing.  I had her shut the truck off immediately and get herself and kids clear of the truck immediately.  Had the vehicle towed to the dealership to have inspection and repairs.   No warning lights came on.   Dealership says faulty high pressure fuel pump. Caused by wet weather  The dealership said it was road tested but it had the same milage as when the vehicle was brought in for the service.  Wife picked up the truck from Chevy dealership with a very strong oder of gas still in the truck. I'm wife and kids use that vehicle daily.
