I brought this to the attention of the service manager, Tony Rocha at Ed Morse Honda.  He agreed that there was a problem with the Powering Steering Rack (Gear Box) and that this has been an ongoing problem with the CR-V.  However, at this time there is not a recall on the 2019, just on the newer CR-V's.  I contacted Honda and their response was to offer me $1,000 off of the $5,677.51 needed repair to correct the issue that they have been aware of for years. The vehicle is not safe to drive with a defective steering gearbox.  This problem has been going on for well over a year on my CR-V.  I have always had my vehicle serviced and maintained at Ed Morse Honda.  The vehicle is available for inspection upon request.
